of cloth diapers and baby carriers...

It give me great satisfaction to see my...um...the baby's diapers all washed and hung out to dry...they look so pretty decorating the afternoon horizon. It also give me great pleasure to see Joseph wearing the baby!! I love baby carriers...I have a few too many...I just picked up a brand-new Custom Reversible Babyhawk for $40. That is a steal!!! Some Mama bought it and did not like it after one use. I will put up some pictures of it...it is nice. I still have one Meitai baby adjustable Zippy, 2 maya wrap slings, and a Beco Butterfly....very nice...they are having a great summer sale! I love my cloth diapers and baby carriers!

Ahhhh Summertime!!!

We have had quite a good summer....but alas it is coming to an end. School starts for us next Monday with Joseph starting at VU, Josiah starting in Kindergarten and Glory doing Preschool...Providence will be in "nursing" school!

A sweet sleepy Providence enjoying a nap in the swing one evening.

Josiah and Glory helped Joseph shuck all that corn almost 5 dozen ears! A farmer friend of ours blessed us with it. It is good sweet Indiana corn! We froze it for the coming days when we are longing for a little touch of summer!

Dinos at the Zoo!

Back in May we had a wonderful day at the Saint Louis Zoo with Regular Grandma (April Ann's Mom). The kids loved the dinosaurs....no they were not real! Josiah was somewhat uneasy around the T-Rex. Glory loved the popcorn and Providence slept all day! It was a great time.
Josiah wanted to help me write a blog entry...he picked the picture and told me what to write! He is so fun!

This is Providence and she is really cute and she has really soft hair.

Three in the bed and the little one said...

roll over...roll over...
Glory, Providence and Josiah all piled in the bed this morning...well Providence was already there but you know what I mean...we snuggled and laughed and tool some pictures. I love being a mommy! God is so good. I am so thankful to Joseph, my husband who not only sees the value of my being at home with the children but also desires it as well. He is a great blessing to me!

T-Ball

Josiah played T-ball this summer. Truth be told...he did not love it. I thought it was fun. The little kids are so funny! He had this funny little run that he would use from base to base...we asked him during the season why he ran that way and he let us know it was the best way to kick up the most dirt! All and all it was a good experience. He made some new friends. His coach was super nice and it was fun to cheer for him...the jury is still out on next year.

My Little Tie Dyed Kids

This year for Josiah's 5th birthday we had an Art party it was tons of fun and a little bit of chaos too! We decorated or own cupcakes, made sand art, did some watercolor resist paintings and tie dyed t-shirts. Though his birthday is at the beginning of April. I took the photo sometime in June before Father's day. We make Joseph a father's day T-shirt with the kids picture on it. This is this years picture.

Swimming with the Risley Family

On our recent trip to the Saint Louis area we visited with Joseph's sister and her family. We had a great time one day at the beach in their area. Josiah thought is was cool to be able to go on the dock. They played little mermaid and he, being the only boy did not want to be a mermaid...so he was a "fat little fish". Glory loved the sand and I am pretty sure we took half the beach home with us when we left. It was a tons of fun. Thanks Risley's for your hospitality.

Providence

I cannot get the other photo of all three of the children to upload. Here is a recent picture of our sweet little Providence. She is 4 months old. This photo was taken at our house on June 30...so it is pretty recent. I love her sweet smile. She, like Glory smiles with her whole face.

First ever entry!

Well here it is as promised. Thanks to my dear sister-in-law Rachel for getting me started with this!

These pictures were taken in our yard a few days before Mothers day. Josiah is 5. Glory is 2.5 and Providence is about 9 weeks old.
